Bio
Chincoã (Jonathan Gomes da Silva)
Born in 1991, Osasco – SP, Brazil
Visual artist (photography, digital art)
A graduate in Civil Aviation from Anhembi Morumbi University, I rediscovered my artistic calling during the 2020 pandemic. Since I was a child, I have drawn, inspired by everyday life and Eastern culture — which even influenced the choice of my artistic name, Chincoã.
Over the years, I have had experience with artistic drawing, theater, and music (viola). Today, I work as a relationship analyst at a technology company and continue to produce art with dedication.
Project El Corbs
El Corbs emerged after a phase of experimentation with NFTs that did not yield the expected results. Previously called Corbia, the project evolved into El Corbs, a series that artistically expresses each day lived, transforming emotions into unique images.
The idea is to create one image per day, and so far I have produced more than 12 thousand works, available online as images for printing or NFTs. The works were created in Brazil, with original images and with the consent of the people portrayed.
Fun fact:
The name El Corbs combines “El” (an article in Spanish), “C” (from Chincoã) and “Orbs” (spherical shapes), reflecting the poetics and complexity of each work.
