Frédéric Cadiou is a French painter, born in 1980.
He is originally from South Finistère in Brittany, where his workshop is based.
His paintings represent landscapes, highlighted by a bold use of shadows and projected lights, drawing the eye towards the horizon.
The fluidity of the lines, the refined contours and the measured choice of colors, create calm, serene, contemplative atmospheres.
His work suggests the interaction between nature and human perception through a reduced palette and dynamic composition.
