Artist Statement

Consciously turning to the rejection of established canons, academic principles, and the creation of my own worlds, I draw inspiration for future paintings from the works of avant-garde artists, and themes for my canvases from fantasy and mysticism.

In artistic practice, I am most interested in working with plots from my favorite literary works. From 2023 I started and continued a series based on M. Bulgakov’s novel “The Master and Margarita,” which has literally fascinated me since school.

In my works I do not have the goal of conveying the plausibility of perspective or space, but there is a desire to comprehend the world through the prism of geometry, sometimes expressive experiences and always bright color. And abandoning symmetry in favor of asymmetry helps me create dynamic, moving compositions that are not devoid of balance.

And even though my path is not supported by long experience and artistic education, the desire for experimentation and knowledge in the artistic field has become an integral part of my practice. Therefore, I am in constant search, attention and study of new materials when creating my art objects.

I see my mission as conveying my intended artistic images in a visual language that is characteristic of me through a rich color palette, depending on the emotions I experience.
