Malka Tsentsiper is an Israeli painter and sculptor who immigrated to Israel in 1966 from Vilnius, Lithuania (former USSR).
Malka utilizes different techniques, styles, and themes in painting as well as in sculpture, all of which have its distinctive features: strong and sometimes contrasting colors and joy of life. The naïve style is one of the painter’s favorites. Malka received the top award at the Moscow International Art Festival 2009 for a series of paintings on Jewish Life (for unique national originality). Following this success, Malka’s solo exhibitions were held at the National Museum in Minsk, at the Chagall House-Museum in Vitebsk (both Belarus), and at various exhibition sites in Riga (Latvia), Kiev (Ukraine), Vilnius (Lithuania), Moscow and St.-Petersburg (Russian Federation).
Malka also held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel, various European countries and the United States of America. Her paintings are part of collections at museums in Riga, Minsk, New Jersey, Quebec and private collections around the world.
Malka Tsentsiper is a member of the Association of Painters and Sculptors in Israel. Currently, Malka lives and works in Modiin, Israel.
