In my work, I try to draw the viewer’s attention to both the external appearance and the internal component of our world. ‘The world is not what it seems’, and it is. I try to present my philosophy and share it with others.
I work in mixed media. For me, painting is a way of moving away from the rationality of technical education towards another plane of perception. Balance is probably the criterion that is closest to my heart.
Vereshchagin, Bosch and Dürer are the artists who introduced me to the world of art. And under whose influence I still am. Recently, I’ve become close to the Russian artist Vrubel. His precision, mysticism and legends resonated with me.
