Born and lived a long life in Moscow. Now I live in the USA.
I graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute. Holds a Ph.D. in Architecture. Has more than 50 scientific papers on the sociology of housing and environmental psychology. Has written and published several books related to the history of Siberia. I seriously took up painting in 2015. He has had several solo exhibitions in Moscow. Many of his works have been sold in Russia, as well as in the USA, France, Israel, Ukraine, and other countries. The style and technique of his works are constantly changing and improving.
Over a ten-year period, the artist has traveled a short but meaningful path from realism to his own unique style. Each of his new works is unlike the previous ones. This is not eclecticism or a lack of his own style. His style is constantly evolving. Our world changes every day, and not always for the better. Similarly, the artist’s painting, reflecting the surrounding world through his own consciousness, does not stand still. Each time it becomes deeper and more expressive.
The artist works in a wide variety of painting genres, but almost all of his paintings contain, or have in the subtext, important social content. Therefore, in the last 4 years he has created many political and anti-war paintings. His art strives to make our world better, more humane.
