Giorgio Storchi

I was born in Modena in 1969, where I started painting. Now I spend my time between Paris and Modena. In Paris my creativity exploded with a new technique and this gave me the opportunity to exhibit in different galleries in Europe and America. I made my first paintings by putting together different materials: ropes, nails, ceramics and various metals. After a few years I started using varnish, always matching different materials. Today the combinations of colors, with their nuances, and geometric shapes are the source of my inspiration.

My work is the result of passion, research, imagination; it reveals the aspects of my soul. The colors inside is a step reached after years of work. I would like to provoke people to go further, perceive the emotion that is hidden behind the aesthetic representation full of colors and shapes and tell the world in its infinite shades, give food for thought giving voice to the deepest silences, the possibility of escaping sometimes through a personal artistic language, in a perfect compromise between technique, tradition and innovation.
