URBAN NIGHT PULSE
From the Series ‘night sketches‘
“When light is reflected on black, it transforms and transmutes it. It opens up a mental field all of its own.”
– Pierre Soulages
“…the sky grows darker, one stroke at a time, into deeper shades of night.”
– Haruki Murakami
Whilst wandering the streets in the night air, I connect to it all – the night pulse, from the city lights to other souls who inhabit the city after dark.
The shades of night are like entire universes to me.
