Born 1982, Châteauneuf sur Cher, France
Self-taught painter, I grew up watching my parents paint. Since my youngest age, I have never stopped creating and experimenting. From comics, painting, model making and even sculpture. Everything that inspires me, the beauty expressed at the fingertips is a form of vital meditation.
Finally, it was in the world of painting that I decided to settle down. Acrylic paint to be exact. I like to work on the smallest details and create surprise, highlighting warm colors by playing with light. What rejoices my soul as an artist is to see the joy and wonder on the faces of people who admire my works whether they are two, fifteen, forty or even ninety years old, joy overwhelms them. .
I could consider myself to some extent as an artist engaged against gloom.
Art project
I was lucky enough to find my universe, it happened almost naturally… by accident one day when my wife gave me some wooden beads which at first I didn’t know what to do with until the day I came up with the idea of making pretty little eyes out of them to integrate them into an experimental work (an invasion of tricks) by letting my child’s soul express itself and that was the birth of the stuff.
Small friendly beings who stare at you with their benevolent gaze, sometimes dozens, sometimes hundreds, they can embody a famous character, a job or visit the corners of our pretty world that they intend to invade.
“Let’s stay children and everything will be better!”
