Born 1977.
Lives and works in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Graduated (MA) at the Academy of arts, sculpture department, in Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad, in 2003.
My art practice is influenced by culture, media, relations, relationships, visual communication, architecture, urban contents … everyday quests. Also, I like the art of other people, that inspires me too.
I work and try to see the way I think.
I try to change the way I think.
I try to change the way I am.
I try to live and think, and make art.
I believe my position is outside. I am an outsider artist.
I make these drawings/collages/works by combining various materials: paper, cardboard, different types of tape (duct tape, sellotape, paper glue…), oil paint, spray paint, acrylic, cardboard boxes, stuff I found… in short, materials which are cheap and easy to get. Dimension of works is 25X17.5cm (B5).
I find collage as the most appropriate “language” to express in a visual way.
Selection of materials, forms and overall expression is made under the visual and conceptual influence of contemporary daily events (news, digital environment, design, mass media communication, urban contents…).
I want, just like that, to make a drawing, a sculpture, an object, an installation.
Artwork that will make room for communication.
A space of dialogue, fun and joy.
