Jean-Roch Klethi is a French artist based in Alsace, near Strasbourg. He exhibits primarily in Alsace and throughout France.

His recent work consists of oil paintings incorporating partially unravelled textiles—linen canvas, reclaimed jute, and other fibres—whose structures and textures become an integral part of the composition. This patient process of deconstruction reflects his interest in the necessity of undoing material before creating with it. Through successive layers of colour, the reconfigured surface gives rise to abstract forms that evoke movement, landscape-like horizons, or organic patterns of growth.
