Jiri is trained as an artistic gilder. Graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Uherske Hradiste (South Moravia, Czech Republic), specializing in Painting in Architecture and Advertising.

He is the winner of the eighth round of the Showdown competition 2010. His main fields of work are painting, graphics, sculpture and photography.  Jiri uses combinations of various materials and technological methods, and also writes poetry and short texts. Represented in many private collections in Czech Republic and abroad (Austria, Germany, Great Britain, France, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan). He lives and works in Cesky Krumlov (Czech Republic)
