There is melancholy in my painting but also illumination because behind all darkness hides light.
I was able to discover my artistic side during my studies at the hotel management school: creations in pastry and cooking, I worked with sugar, ice cream, chocolate by creating substantial gastronomic works. This artistic side remained buried in me for all these years until December 2018 when following an emotional shock due to multiple deaths around me, I felt the need to throw my emotions onto a canvas.
With a lot of work and study but also the inspiration of my mentors: Bob Ross, Igor Saharov, Vincent Van Gogh, I paint with musical emotion on Pink Floyd or David Gilmour, which takes me far…
I put on my canvas deep emotions, feelings, to put stars in the eyes of viewers when they immerse themselves in my works.
As Mr. Pablo Picasso said:
“Art washes the dust of everyday life from our soul”
Indeed, painting allows me to escape, forgetting the world around me. I paint with my heart and soul and throw my emotions, my dreams, my travels on a canvas. Time stands still during the creation of each canvas.
Painting has become my reason for living. I make works in art brut.
I started painting in acrylics but now I only paint with oil paint with a knife, with reliefs on linen or cotton canvases. I paint headlong.
Everything inspires me… I paint by instinct, by impulse without any visual, model or photo. My work is first a moment of happiness which is felt in my works and which makes my viewers feel strong emotions according to the reviews received.
I have been congratulated by the poetry that emanates from my works; they tell stories.
My ultimate goal is to share my emotions and make them felt through each canvas. Touching the hearts or souls of viewers with my painting touches me deeply in my soul as an artist. With 600 paintings to my credit in 2 years and 2 gold medals won in New York (Impressionism and Expressionism), I always want to go further…”
