Jorge Calero

Jorge Calero is a Colombian-Portuguese painter living in south Portugal and whose deep concern for environmental degradation has led him to conceive a world of Infinite passion and respect towards nature.

Climate disruption and media bias are two sides of the same coin. Both threaten our way of life and our value system. However, by becoming aware of these processes and acting collectively, we can build a more just and sustainable future. Jorge Calero’s work reminds us that art can be a powerful tool to raise awareness and promote change. By confronting disruption and inception, we can create a world where ethics and aesthetics intertwine for the well-being of all.

The work of Jorge Calero invites us to reflect on the fragility of the balance between human beings and their environment. In this essay, we will explore how the “Disruption” caused by climate change is transforming our value system, while the “Inception” exercised through the media shapes our perception of reality and distances us from collective action.
