Steve is an international award-winning photographer born and living in Melbourne, Australia.
His passion is photographing architecture and urban landscapes in black and white. Driven by his long-time interest in architecture, he is inspired to capture the shapes and forms, the light and shadows produced by these man-made structures and landscapes. His images have a minimalist theme and are typically devoid of humanity, which contradicts the populace of the urban landscape.
He is self-taught and his work has been published in several domestic and international magazines.
The series presented here, simply titled “New York”, was photographed on visit to New York City in 2019. This trip fulfilled a long-held ambition to capture many of the architectural icons and urban landscapes that are found this thriving metropolis.
